U VISA
What it is:
A U Visa is a special visa in the United States for victims of certain serious crimes who have suffered substantial physical or mental abuse and have helped (or are willing to help) law enforcement or government officials investigate or prosecute those crimes

Who can qualify:
To be eligible, a person must:

- Have information about the crime.
- Have been helpful, be helpful, or be likely to be helpful to law enforcement or prosecutors in investigating or prosecuting the crime.
- The crime must have occurred in the U.S. or violated U.S. laws.
